I love them since I'm a child, because no other sweet manages to scuring your Christmas home like these cookies. With my mom we prepared them every year. Our decoration with the ice left a bit desired, but they were very good and gave us a lot of satisfaction. Gingerbread Cookies
Christmas is coming and like every year, in addition to colorful and glimpling decorations, so many wonderful and greedy Christmas cookies can be missing on our table! There are several types including the famous Gingerbread (gingerbread cookies). These cookies are very famous in the Nordic countries, are wonderfully fragrant and tasty, simple to realize using various Christmas forms including the most famous little man. Ingredients for about 25 biscuits:
- 250 g cold butter
- 200 g dark cane sugar (type muscovado)
- 100 g eggs (2 medium eggs)
- 500 g flour 00
- 2 teaspoons of ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of cloves in powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Glaze to decorate:
- 150 g icing sugar
- 1 egg white
- 3-4 drops of lemon juice
Preparation

On the pastry board, mix: the sifted flour, the cold butter in small pieces with sugar, salt and spices until a sandy mixture is obtained. Add the eggs and mix. And knead only the time needed to make it absorb the rest of the mixture.

Wrap everything in the film and store in the fridge for at least 3 hours (better one night). Heat the oven to 160/170 °.

Remove the pasta from the fridge, store it on the pastry board, choose the molds that we like the higher.

And with the help of the rolling pin, spread the paste up to a thickness of 5mm and cut out the desired shapes with the appropriate molds.

Store the biscuits on a baking baking pan, bake and cook them for 15 - 20 minutes. Once cooked to churn out cookies and let them cool right.

Meanwhile, the gingerbread cool, with the parchment paper we prepare a paper cone for decoration.

In a bowl we prepare the iced by mixing in a bowl the icing sugar with the egg white and a few drops of lemon juice (or use the ready faster and practical ice), obtained the density and the right shine with the help of a consumption of Card, you will proceed to the decoration of the biscuits according to your taste.
